Dr Roger Henderson, Medical content writer
Dr Roger Henderson qualified as a doctor from St Bartholomew's Hospital, London in 1985, and as a general practitioner in 1990. Two years after entering the media world in 1995, he became medical columnist for the Sunday Times. As a highly experienced GP and one of the UK’s most respected health writers and broadcasters, he writes for a number of national publications, is a presenter for GP Notebook, appears regularly on television, radio and podcasts, and sits on the judging panel for the annual UK General Practice awards.
During his time as the UK Medical Officer for Liva Healthcare, he helped to position Liva at the forefront of the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme and was closely involved in its successful expansion into many countries.
